Sabong streams: what to check
A checklist for adults looking at an online sabong broadcast — lock times, settlement, license claims, and video delay.
Start with the operator, not the fight
A sabong stream can be sharp and still sit on a site you should not trust with a wallet. Before you look at Meron and Wala prices, read who runs the market and which license they print. If they name PAGCOR, look that claim up on PAGCOR’s site. The category page sabong explains the usual screen layout.
Rules around online sabong in the Philippines have shifted. A foreign arena label does not answer whether you may bet. When you are unsure, do not deposit.
Four items on the fight screen
- Lock time. When do bets stop relative to the release of the birds?
- Cancel rule. What happens to stakes if the fight is declared no contest?
- Slip history. Can you reopen the odds you accepted after the market moves?
- Delay. Is the video behind a text result feed? If yes, the feed will settle the bet, not the moment you think you saw.
If any of the four is missing, you are guessing. Guessing on a live event market is an expensive habit.
One sitting, one budget
Do not open slots “while you wait” for the next fight with the same unplanned balance. Split entertainment cash before the card starts, and leave when it is gone. Responsible play lists the points where a session should end even if the card is still running.
